Jant Town! Jant Town, Jant Town, Jant Town. What a lovely little town- so quaint and cute in comparison to the bustling cultural capital that Kyles was. Victor sighed, clasping his hands together as he bounced over the town border. He could have flown in directly to his destination- the local PokeCentre- but dear heavens, no. That wouldn't have been nearly grand enough for him. Victor was the Gym Leader of Kyles City. THE Gym Leader of Kyles City. His entrance to any city or town would not be sudden or short, and it would not go unnoticed. Even if he had to hire the press himself to greet him upon entry. Thankfully, being the astounding presence that he was, spending money wasn't often necessary.
Victor sighed again, holding his clasped hands against his cheek. Jant Town. This was his favourite place to visit. Not only was the environment so vastly different from the city he called home, but this cozy little place held two of his absolute favourite people in its clutches. One being the beautiful Gym Leader, Aestia, who was a good friend of Victor's, and the other.. The star of today's visit. The purpose for this journey. The Secondary Main Attraction (second, of course, to Victor) of today's adventure: Victor's beautiful and talented PokeNurse of a cousin, Raine! Victor let out a small excited squeal as he hopped in place and picked up the pace. He was far too excited to be seeing her again- no, no. He was just excited enough! There would be no interviews for him today. No stopping to answer the questions of the public, no autographs to be signed, though there was one who would try. The paparazzi, though there were only one or two, and neither of them professional, would have to settle for candids of him waltzing through town in the latest and greatest fashion trends from Kyles. Trends that he, no doubt, started himself. But Victor was a benevolent God, and he graced the photographers with a pleasant smile as he walked through town.
You'd think it'd be difficult, living as a celebrity, but Victor thrived off of the attention. He didn't earn and maintain his status as Gym Leader, AND leave so many Pokemon Contests completely taken by storm, just to be pushed aside as yesterday's news. There was no way he would host grand parties, and grace the screens of computers and televisions in the homes of average folk just out of the goodness of his heart. No, he lived for the applause and only felt more invigorated as curious eyes and cameras followed him to the humble PokeCentre. He stood at the door for a moment, letting the excitement build in his chest as he pushed the Articuno Exchange sunglasses on top of his head. He turned to whatever soul was still following him and bat his eye lashes. "Okay, leave me alone now. ♥" It would be absolutely unacceptable to let the remaining cameraman impose on Raine doing her job. That was, without a single doubt, Victor's duty, and he could do it alone.
With a final deep, barely contained breath of excitement, Victor pushed the double doors open and sang loudly across the room to the woman at the counter.
"Raine! ♫"
His arms still held wide open as he trotted across the tile floor in his Lairon Vuitton boots. "My cousin, beautiful Raine-y day! I haven't seen you in AGES!" He stood a few feet from the counter, keeping his arms out in expectation of a hug, with a smile as bright as day stretched across his face.
