The Pokemon Konah RP does not have a formal leveling system or battle system. However, there are two generally accepted ways to carry out Pokemon battles. We will go over those here.
Method 1: Download a Battle Simulator
All members of the Pokemon League will have a copy of Pokemon Showdown, a battle sim used primarily in the competitive Pokemon Battling community. You can download the program at the link above. To challenge other players, Gym Leaders, or the Elite Four, message the player on Slack or via PM to arrange a battle.
All Pokemon should be set to level 100 by default, and we ask that you leave that alone. This way, players are battling on skill alone.
You are on the honor system when it comes to programming in your team. If you are caught using a team with impossible stats, movesets, or using Pokemon you have not caught, you may be banned from battling via the simulator.
If the battle is a Pokemon League battle (i.e. against a Gym Leader or Elite Four member), please post the result in the respective gym subforum.
Method 2: Write your Battles
You can also message the player you would like to battle individually and plan out a written battle. These battles should still take place on the forums, but you and the player should work out who wins ahead of time. If you and the player cannot decide who would win, please flip a coin. If it becomes a problem beyond that, please contact an admin to mediate.
That's all there is to it! Play fair and have fun!
