Accaliko Town--the traditional starting point of any young trainer's Pokemon journey. So what if she hadn't been born there? Abigail Elizabeth Kensington was not one to let such little things as chance dictate her life.
But for Arceus' sake, the town WAS dull.
She could see why few people made their homes there--why live here when you could live in Kyles City?--but nonetheless, she REQUIRED the best, and all common wisdom dictated that Accaliko Town was it. The best place to start. Where trainers go to have a good beginning.
She had taken the train in the night before and stayed the night at a hotel--which was an insult to the word, really, it was so small--and arose bright and early to start on her journey. She wasn't about to be outdone by the locals, oh no.
She considered paying a visit to the renowned Pokemon lab in the town, but really, with a starter as high-quality as her beloved Princess, why bother? Why bother with any other Pokemon at all, really?
So it was with this in mind that she breezed right by the small crowd that had gathered around the lab of young trainers and their families clamoring to get their starters. Just like common folk to wait on these things until the very last minute. Amateurs.
